The exercises
Each exercise (module) practises one kind of control. They run in this order.
| Exercise | Learners practise | Ticked when |
|---|---|---|
| Buttons | Pressing a button by touching it, and pressing a button further away by pointing at it. If your lesson has clickable parts, also selecting the lid of a box. | Always included |
| Grab and place | Picking up a cube and putting it on a plate. If your lesson has objects learners resize, also making the cube bigger with both hands. | The lesson has objects to pick up |
| Machine controls | Pressing Positive on a control panel until a sliding block stops at its end, as with machines made with the Kinematic Editor Tool. | The lesson has moving machine parts |
| Sliders | Dragging a slider until a panel shows 80 %. | The lesson has sliders, for example in the Planetary Lab or a Motion playback |
| Moving around | Getting to a marked spot on the floor: by teleporting, moving by hand gesture or walking, whatever the player setup allows. With controllers that can turn, also turning with the thumbstick. | Lesson steps ask learners to go somewhere |
| Wrist menu | Turning the left wrist until the wrist menu appears, and holding it there. | A lesson step uses the wrist menu |
| QR positioning | Looking at the printed QR code until the model locks into place. AR only. | The lesson uses Positioning Setup |
| Real surfaces | Putting a block down on a real table, seen through the headset. AR only. | The lesson uses the room's real surfaces |
You can tick or untick any exercise that fits the player setup. Exercises marked Coming later aren't available yet.
