Update or remove a lab

Change the lab

1. Open the scene and ALF > Physics > Electric Field Setup. The scene's lab is chosen automatically. If not, pick it under Lab to edit in step 1.
2. Change what you need in steps 1 to 5.
3. In step 6 Save, press Apply lab settings. The lab's controls, arrows and lines are rebuilt. The charges, the probe and the graph are kept, and so is everything else in your scene.
4. Save the scene with Ctrl+S.

Remove the lab

In step 6 Save, press Remove generated lab (Undo supported). Only what the tool created is removed. Your own objects and the rest of the scene stay.

Ctrl+Z brings it back.

Good to know

• Learners' scans are never saved in the project. Each lesson starts fresh.
• Changed the number of charges? Check the lesson's rules in step 5, then apply the lesson again.
